The 2015/16 season of live broadcasts on WKAR kicks off with this evening's 8 o'clock Ann Arbor Symphony concert. Soloist Garrick Ohlsson does double-duty on the all-Beethoven program with the Piano Concerto No. 3 and the "Choral Fantasy" for orchestra, chorus and piano. The program opens with Beethoven's Symphony No. 3. Be sure to tune in during intermission as music director Arie Lipsky previews next month's live concert broadcast of Tchaikovsky, Kodaly and Dvorak.
