Two more people have pleaded guilty to defrauding a fund set up by Michigan State University for the treatment of survivors of Larry Nassar’s sexual abuse.
The plea deals accepted by Porter and Marcetta Johnson will result in restitution orders but no jail time. The Lansing State Journal reports that Porter Johnson will pay more than $38,000 in restitution, while Marcetta Johnson will repay more than $69,000. Sentencing will be in July.
Their daughter, former MSU women’s basketball player Donita Johnson, faces two counts each of false pretenses and using a computer in the commission of a crime.
In April, Tammy Johnson entered a guilty plea in connection with case. She will be sentenced later this week. Her deal includes restitution of $75,000.
The fraud against the Healing Assistance Fund totaled more than half a million dollars.
Along with Donita Johnson, three others have been offered plea deals.
