DETROIT – Jeremy Bonderman allowed one run in 6 2-3 innings, Brennan Boesch and Johnny Damon each drove in two runs, and the Detroit Tigers earned a split of a day-night doubleheader with a 7-1 victory over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night.
Damon was 3 for 5.
Chicago won the first game 12-2 as Juan Pierre homered for the first time in almost two years.
