"Sesame Street" has been educating children on WKAR for four decades.

WKAR-TV's on-air membership campaign is underway and we're asking for your support to help us reach our $135,000 goal.

Why should you give during our annual June campaign?

There are plenty of reasons -- but we think the best are the programs we bring to our community each and every day of the year.

There's Big Bird, Super WHY! and Word Girl for the kids. "Frontline" and "PBS NewsHour" offer indepth information on key news-related issues. "Masterpiece" delights British drama viewers, while "Antiques Roadshow," "Nature" and "NOVA" round out a week of programs for all interests.
