The State News to MSU Board of Trustees: "You're Done"

Students at Michigan State University are once again ramping up calls for its Board of Trustees to step down. The student newspaper is taking the leaders to task for how they’re handling the aftermath of the Larry Nassar abuse scandal.

The student newspaper The State News published a scathing editorial on Thursday.

It says nothing has changed since President Lou Anna K. Simon stepped down four  months ago.

From protesters at board meetings to dealing with abuse survivors, Editor-in-chief Rachel Fradette made this observation about the Trustees.

“They don’t seem prepared to be handling this and that’s why we were kind of proposing that there should be a change in leadership.”

So far, the newspaper has not received any response from the MSU administration.
