LANSING, MI –

The Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame has been re-dedicated in its new home, the Lansing Center.

The move is designed to get more people to see the Hall's displays. It previously was located in the Gannon Building at Lansing Community College.

Lansing Entertainment and Public Facilities Authority CEO Scott Keith is pleased to have the Hall in its new home.

"We felt like it was a good connection to the Lansing Center," he says. "LEPFA, which manages us, manages the ballpark, so we have an interest in sports as well. One of the things that we look for is, are there sports that fit into the convention center, and there are, so we think it's a nice tie-in, and add the community part to it and it's definitely a good fit."

This year's inductees will be added to the Greater Lansing Sports Hall of Fame in July.
