Spartans dream big, build small at MSU’s first tiny house

Some MSU students are thinking big and building small with the campus's first tiny house. We talk to Tiffany Pupa about the "Sparty's Cabin" being built inside the MSU Surplus Center.

Imagine trading in your three bedroom, two bathroom house for less than 400 square feet of living space. The rising popularity of “tiny houses” mean that more Americans are doing just that.

Current State producer April Van Buren learned about a project to build a tiny house right here on MSU’s campus. She talked to the student who spearheaded MSU’s first tiny house project for a tour of what will soon become “Sparty’s Cabin”.
