Grand Rapids, MI – Rick Snyder and Virg Bernero are giving their views on a variety of issues at the West Michigan Policy Forum.
Bernero was speaking first Friday morning to hundreds of leaders and policymakers at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids. Snyder was to go second.
A panel posed questions about the economy, education and health care and dealing with the state deficit, among other issues.
Bernero and Snyder did not appear on the stage together.
The pair shared a stage Monday when Bernero showed up at a Snyder town hall meeting to ask Snyder to sit down with him and work out a schedule for debates.
Snyder so far hasn't agreed to reopen talks on debates. He says Bernero should have accepted his debate offer last week.
