The Broad Art Museum brings a forward-thinking display to its halls this weekend. We learn from the Broad’s Caitlín Doherty and a couple of the visiting artists how their art helps envision Ireland a hundred years from now in the exhibit “2116: Forecast of the Next Century.”

This weekend, the Broad Art Museum partakes in an exercise of looking to the future. The exhibit debuting on Saturday is called “2116: Forecast of the Next Century.” It is focused upon several contemporary Irish artists and their vision for what the future of Ireland holds.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley spoke with the co-curator of the exhibit, as well as two of the artists who have flown in so they are able to put the finishing touches on their pieces showing at the Broad.
