Michigan State reinstates 4 involved with brawl

By AP

EAST LANSING, MI – Michigan State football coach Mark Dantonio says Mark Dell, B.J. Cunningham, Chris Rucker and J'Michael Deane have been reinstated.

Dantonio says those four players were back on the team Tuesday, when spring drills began, after being involved in an on-campus fight.

He also provided updates on others who played a part in Nov. 22 brawl that has marred the program.

Dantonio says Oren Wilson and Myles White are transferring; Fred Smith is still working through the legal process; and Donald Spencer was reinstated soon after being suspended, but not charged with a crime.

Each reinstated player is listed as a backup on the spring depth chart and Keith Nichol is listed as a first-string receiver and backup quarterback.
