There are already three investigations looming to learning more about the Flint water crisis. State Senator Jim Ananich wants another. Current State talks to Ananich about that and the road funding plan he's calling a "sham."
There are already plans for three investigations of Flint’s water crisis: a Gubernatorial task force, an Environmental Protection Agency inquiry and one by the state auditor. Michigan Senate Minority Leader Jim Ananich of Flint wants another one.
He says the three planned investigations amount to “agencies investigating themselves.” Last week, he proposed a formal Senate hearing, which would have the authority to subpoena witnesses to testify under oath.
Current State talks to Ananich about the response so far to his proposal, and about Governor Snyder's stamp of approval on a road funding deal.
