"It always seems to come back to blues," says Kevin Nichols. "We're a group of musicians who really just enjoy being on stage with each other, and it starts with that, and it just kind of goes outward from there."
Winners of the 2013 Capital Area Blues Society Blues Brawl, Kevin Nichols and Blue Tuesday placed into the semi-finals in the 2014 International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Nichols has led bands into the annual competition six times, including a top ten finish with Six Hands Down in 2009.
