DETROIT, MI –
Ford Motor Co. says April sales rose 25% from the same month last year.
Ford says sales of its cars, trucks and SUVs all were higher compared with last April, when the industry was in a severe downturn. But sales fell 9% from March, when the industry saw a boost from big incentive spending led by Toyota.
Sales of the F-Series pickup rose 42% thanks to a new Super Duty truck and gradual recovery in the construction business.
