Flood waters continue to close roads and walkways around MSU, Lansing and Ingham County.
Flood waters from the swollen Grand and Red Cedar rivers closed roads and walkways around Michigan State University and throughout the greater Lansing area on Saturday.
In downtown Lansing, high water from the Grand River closed the riverwalk near the Lansing Center.
On the MSU campus, portions of Chestnut and Red Cedar Roads as well as the McLane Baseball Stadium and several pathways remain under water.
Last week, heavy rains and a heavy wet snow fell on Central Michigan, swelling creeks and rivers.
Throughout Ingham County, the following closures are in effect:
Ottawa Drive and Nakoma Dr intersection
Hillcrest Avenue - Between Okemos Road and Seminole Drive
Columbia Road - Between Dietz Road and Haywood Road
Okemos Road - Between Central Park Drive and Haslett Road
Olds Road - Between Cooper Road and Meridian Road
Wallace Road / Huschke Road - Between M-43 and Gramer Road
Linn Road - Between Meech Road and Dietz Road
Nims Road - Between Meridian Road and Fitchburg Road
Tacoma Boulevard – Between Penobscot Drive and Red Wing Drive
