In Flint, MDHHS eyes possible Legionnaires' disease sites

As state, federal and local officials continue working to gain more control of the Flint water crisis, Current State's Mark Bashore talks with Dr. Eden Wells, the chief medical executive for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

State, federal and local officials continue working to gain more control of the Flint water crisis. 

In recent days, we’ve heard both good and bad news. Among the good, early tests suggest a drop in lead levels in Flint’s water since the switch back to Detroit’s water system.  

Among the bad, health officials said Friday that the city could see a spike in Legionnaire’s Disease when warmer spring weather returns.
