The East Lansing school district is seeing some turnover in leadership.
East Lansing High School Principal Coby Fletcher has been chosen as Escanaba Area Public Schools’ next Superintendent. And East Lansing’s Superintendent Robyne Thompson officially resigns on June 30th.
East Lansing school board president Nell Kuhnmuench says the board will begin discussing the selection of a new Superintendent at their next meeting on May 22. When asked if Dori Leyko would be considered, she declined to comment. Leyko has been serving as acting superintendent since Thompson announced her resignation in January.
