Broad Art Museum Dedicated

A dedication ceremony was held on Saturday to open the new Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University to the public.

MSU has announced that the final $1.2 million has been raised to reach the project’s $40-million fundraising goal. The final funding came from earlier donors who upped their pledges. They include New York real estate developer Edward Minskoff and his wife, Julie, and Demmer Corporation president Bill Demmer and his wife Linda.

The line to enter the museum on Sunday stretched from the East doors to Grand River Avenue in East Lansing.
