Amy Fouty has served as Michigan State's sports turf manager since 2003. Her 26-year career is one that has brought her acclaim and even Field of the Year honors from the Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) in 2005.
Prior to joining her alma mater, she actually worked for the rival of MSU! That's right, Fouty was the head groundskeeper at the University of Michigan from 1999 to 2003.
WKAR's Al Martin profiles the career of Fouty as well as the history of turf at Spartan Stadium.
