“Figuratively” – A new exhibit by Michigan watercolor artist Julie Keith is now on display at The Peoples Church of East Lansing. The exhibit, which includes 28 pieces from her collection, emphasizes the expression of emotion through abstractions of the human figure. Her inspiration comes from the sculptural work by the artist Rodin, who seemed able to extract the range of human emotions from the coldness of stone and marble. The exhibit, which is open to the public and free of charge, will be on display throughout the church building through July 19, 2018. Hours for viewing are Monday through Friday, 12:00 Noon through 4:00 PM, and Sunday 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Visitors may park in the church parking lot and pick up a catalog for the exhibit inside the NW entrance of the church.
