Event Description

The Peoples Church and Re-Member host a screening of Neither Wolf nor Dog East Lansing, MI (October 31, 2017) – Re-Member is hosting a special screening of “Neither Wolf nor Dog” in advance of their Annual Banquet at Peoples Church. The Peoples Church, 200 W Grand River, East Lansing is hosting the screening on Friday, November 10th at 7 pm. Register online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3115116. There will be a free will offering taken at the screening. Re-Member is located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota where “Neither Wolf nor Dog,” was set and was filmed. This film is based on the book "Neither Wolf nor Dog: On Forgotten Roads with an Indian Elder" by Kent Nerburn and was directed by Steven Louis Simpson. Guided by the aspirations of the Oglala Lakota Indian communities we serve, Re-Member seeks to improve the quality of reservation life through relationships, shared resources and volunteer services. Through site visits and cultural immersion, we continue to develop a growing circle of advocates standing in solidarity with the Indian people of Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
