We hope you were one of over 100,000 viewers who had a chance to enjoy some of the finest public television programming during WKAR Pledge Madness.  The recent weeks gave us an opportunity to showcase the quality programming WKAR brings to households throughout Mid-Michigan.

And it was an opportunity for viewers like you to show support for that programming.

Over $175,000 was raised during WKAR Pledge Madness to help keep quality TV on the air in Mid-Michigan.

Wow. We can't thank WKAR supporters enough.

WKAR was selected by members of the University Club of MSU to compete in their "Big Bang-Quet" $10,000 Community Charity Challenge. WKAR is one of 26 mid-Michigan organizations asking the public for their votes to help us win a $10,000 credit towards a fundraising event held in the University Club's newly renovated dining room.

The program is conducted by the University Club of MSU in conjunction with the Capital region Community Foundation (CRCF) and sponsored by the MSU Federal Credit Union.

As a WKAR-TV member, you don't simply watch public television programs.

Gifts to WKAR are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Until December 31, 2011 gifts to public broadcasting are eligible for a State of Michigan Tax Credit. The credit expires on December 31, 2011.
