Founded in the early 2000s, the MSU Bike Polo Team has been drawing a lot of attention over the years for being different from your typical "sport." The team has steadily grown, catering to average bicycle riders who want to spice up their time on two wheels.

EAST LANSING, Mich. - With the season well into it’s second half, Michigan State's women’s Division I club hockey team prepared to play their final home game of the season at Munn Ice Arena against Robert Morris University. The Spartans are in the hunt for an ACHA Championship.

The 12th-ranked Michigan State men's basketball team tied a school record with 17 3-pointers in a 96-62 Big Ten victory over Rutgers on Sunday night. Bryn Forbes scored all 18 of his points in the first half, and Denzel Valentine finished with 20.

The No.11 Michigan State men's basketball team were able to pull away late at home against Maryland to win 74-65, ending a three-game skid.

No. 11 Michigan State fell in the final seconds to Nebraska 72-71 on Wednesday night, making it now three straight loses for the Spartans.  Denzel Valentine's 3-pointer with 5.2 seconds left cut the deficit to one point, but he couldn't make the game-winning shot.

The MSU men’s basketball team posted two easy wins last week over Illinois and Penn State.  The good news yesterday in the game with the Nittany Lions was the return of star Denzel Valentine from a knee injury. The schedule this week includes a home game against Iowa and a road matchup with Wisconsin.

The Cotton Bowl matchup between the Michigan State Spartans and Alabama Crimson Tide is now just a day away. Mark Dantonio and Nick Saban addressed the media for the final time before kickoff this morning at the Omni Hotel in downtown Dallas, TX. Afterward, ESPN broadcasters Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler provided insight on the matchup.

The competition is fierce, yet the stakes are not high. For members of the National Collegiate Dodgeball Association, club dodgeball is a way of life, regardless of the sport’s obscurity.

“Dodgeball has changed me as a person,” Kevin Bailey, the Grand Valley State University team captain, said. “The most rewarding part of dodgeball for me has been realizing a passion that I have and all of the friendships I have made through it.”
