Aaron Henry is one of the latest recruits for the Michigan State Class of 2018 from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The 6-foot-5, 200-pound small forward was originally born in Louisville, Kentucky.  Via Twitter, Henry announced that he committed to Michigan State and he is confident that he made the right decision. Henry has always dreamed of playing college basketball and Michigan State was his dream school.

The Megaphone trophy is headed back to South Bend. Notre Dame captured the coveted trophy with a 38-18 beat down of Michigan State Friday night at Spartan Stadium.

Michigan State University graduate, now SportsCenter host on ESPN, Jemele Hill, made national headlines earlier this week when she called President Donald Trump a white supremacist via Twitter. ESPN issued a statement noting that Hill's comments do not represent the company and that they had addressed it with Hill. This morning on Twitter President Trump said ESPN "is paying a really big price for its politics (and bad programming). People are dumping it in RECORD numbers. Apologize for untruth."

  The Michigan State athletic department will pay tribute to former men's basketball coach Jud Heathcote in multiple ways in the near future and throughout the 2017-18 season. The men's basketball team will wear a patch honoring Heathcote throughout the upcoming year. The final design of the patch will be revealed at a later date.

Michigan State University Athletics announced the passing of basketball coach Jud Heathcote. He led the Spartans to their first NCAA Championship in 1979.
