Days of emotional testimony in two Michigan courtrooms are wrapping up with a final sentence for former sports doctor Larry Nassar, whose serial sexual abuse of girls and young women has shaken Michigan State University and elite sports associations.

The Michigan attorney general's office has asked a judge to sentence a disgraced Michigan sports doctor to 40 to 125 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting seven girls.

The former MSU and USA gymnastics team doctor was sentenced to 60 years in prison on child pornography charges by Judge Janet T. Neff. Nassar will be sentenced in state court in January for molesting gymnasts.
