EAST LANSING, MI (WKAR) - Workers are busy building the new art museum on the Michigan State University campus. They've finishing laying the concrete floors and installing heating and air conditioning.
The university recently announced that the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum will open to the public on April 21st.
Meanwhile, next door, in temporary offices overlooking the construction site, director Michael Rush and his staff are busy preparing the inaugural exhibits.

After 98 years, the Ingham County Road Commission could come to an end soon. Next week, the county board of commissioners is expected to approve a measure that would bring road operations under its purview.

The Ingham County Board of Commissioners will consider a proposal to dismantle the county road commission board. The county services committee unanimously approved the tentative measure Tuesday night.

EATON RAPIDS, MI (WKAR) - Plans are underway to build a new foundry in mid-Michigan that will make components for wind turbines. Business and civic leaders say the plan will create about 200 new jobs for the region.
Dowding Industries and Astraeus Wind Energy make wind turbines in Eaton Rapids. The foundry that will be located at the plant will cast the 20-ton hubs that attach to the blades.
LANSING, MI (MPRN) - Michigan is one of just three states without an anti-bullying law to protect students in K-12 schools. The state Legislature is expected to approve a proposal this week that would require all schools to adopt anti-bullying policies.
