The Michigan State football team got back on the winning track Saturday, beating Maryland 37-15. The win moves MSU’s record to 8-2, 5-1 in Big Ten Conference play. Next Saturday, the Spartans will play their final home game of the season, hosting Rutgers.

Al gives listeners a sneak peak to tonight's Current Sports TV show, as he airs the interview with Mateen Cleaves. They relive some of the greatest MSU basketball moments, and talk a little bit about some of his charity work with  One Goal, One Passion. Later, Al gives some throwback thursday moments in sports history, and debates with Alex if Justin Verlander is an average pitcher this year.


    

On February 21, a campus-wide email was sent out by Paulette Granberry Russell, MSU’s Title IX Coordinator and director of its Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives. In it, she stated that the university was “collaborating” with the Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights. It was later revealed by local news outlets that MSU was in fact under a federal investigation for its policies and response to sexual assault claims.
