On today's Current Sports, Al Martin chats with the head coach of the Lansing United men's soccer team, Eric Rudland. He touches on how the team has fared so far this season, the FIFA scandal, and the United State Women's National Soccer Team in World Cup competition. Al also gives his thoughts on the new head coach for the Detroit Red Wings, Jeff Blashill. Was it the right move? The show closes out with a special "Top 5 Tuesday"...who exactly are the top 5 athletes on the planet today?

It's the last day of April, and the Red Wings have, once again, been eliminated from the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Al and Isaac discuss what this means for the team's future. Also, the Current Sports staff provides their insights (and guesses) on who the Lions will pick in the NFL Draft, considering the mercurial nature of their draft picks in the past. Finally, Jeremy Sampson, owner and founder of Lansing United, joins the show as he prepares his team to embark on their second season as a club.
