The No.2 Michigan State Spartans claimed their fifth Big Ten Tourney crown with a 66-62 victory over No. 13 Purdue. With the win, the Spartans are 5-1 overall in the Big Ten Tourney title game, the most in conference history.

The No. 2 Michigan State men's basketball team was able to squeak out a close win on Saturday over the No. 18 Maryland Terrapins in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tourney in Indianapolis, IN at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The MSU football team topped the Iowa Hawkeyes, 16-13, at the Big Ten Championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday night.

The Duke Blue Devils topped the Michigan State men's basketball team in the Final Four on Saturday, 81 to 61 the final. Justise Winslow scored 19 points, fellow freshman Jahlil Okafor added 18 and senior Quinn Cook had 17 points for Duke. Denzel Valentine lead the way with 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Spartans. 

Michigan State is making its ninth trip to the Final Four in school history, including its seventh under Tom Izzo. The Spartans will be taking on the Duke Blue Devils Saturday night at 6:09pm.

 The Final Four is fastly approaching, and Current Sports has all the latest angles, analysis, and news regarding Michigan State vs. Duke.

A "religious freedom" law in Indiana has led some from the sports world to request a reassignment and relocation of the Final Four. Al Martin and Alex Scharg debate about this...

Also, a fantastic interview with Al and Derek Blalock, who will ride his bike from East Lansing to Indianapolis starting tomorrow to raise money for the Thomas Smith Memorial Foundation, named after one of Derek's high school friends who died of an over enlarged heart. The foundation funds heart screening for youth athletes. .

Lastly,''Top Five Tuesday' takes an interesting turn this week, with the reasons why Michigan State "shouldn't be" in the Final Four. 

MSU topped Wisconsin on Saturday, moving on to the Big Ten Final! It's the first time in the 17 year history of the Big Ten Tournament that MSU and Michigan will meet in the Big Ten Tournament Championship game on Sunday afternoon! WKAR's Al Martin reports from Indianapolis on just what this means to the Spartans and how this one could be a bit of payback for the team.

Convincing victory for the Spartans to open up the post-season, but as Al reports, this is only step one of their "redemption song."
