Hurricane Irma

The U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are very early in the process of rebuilding and recovering from the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Two local volunteers are scheduled to leave Lansing this morning to help American Red Cross aid efforts.

The Consumers Energy workers who made their way down to Florida from Michigan last week are currently working in the Boca Raton area as the number of those affected by power outages continues to rise. WKAR's Karel Vega reports.
