Many businesses get their start with the help of an incubator, a company that offers support and training to startups. Current State talks to some of the people behind Grand Ledge Fledge, a local incubator trying to enhance the culture and fill vacant storefronts in the city's downtown.  

The Grand Ledge girls basketball team relinquishes an opportunity to win the CAAC Blue title outright, falling to Holt, 62 to 48.  Grand Ledge, Holt, and East Lansing all share the conference championship and now await district play.  Catch full hilights from the Rams win right here.

OKEMOS - Grand Ledge (2-2, 1-1) spoiled Okemos’ (2-2, 1-1) homecoming with a 20-7 victory Friday night, despite being outgained for the game.

Man versus nature:  It’s a conflict as old as storytelling itself.  And for one Grand Ledge man, it’s a conflict he will never forget. 

Last September, Adrian Knopps, an electrician and avid hunter, went on a bear-hunting trip in southeastern Alaska with his friend, Alaska native Garrett Hagen. Only Adrian came back alive. And that was after he miraculously survived a week stranded in the wilderness with little to eat or drink, inadequate clothing and no shelter.

Adrian Knopps was gracious enough share his story with Current State producer Joe Linstroth.

This week saw a battle in the CAAC blue conference as Grand Ledge hosted Lansing Everett. Grand Ledge pulled out a 41 to 19 win, propelling them to second place in the conference. Pretty remarkable, seeing as though the Comets started the season 0-3! Alex Scharg talked with Grand Ledge head coach Matt Bird afterward.
