The Justice Department says an investigation has found Chicago police are systematically violating the civil rights of people in the city through excessive use of force, poor oversight and inadequate training of officers.

U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced the investigation's findings on Friday, saying the DOJ had concluded there was ample evidence the Chicago Police Department "engages in a pattern or practice of the use of excessive force," in violation of the Fourth Amendment.

The No.2 Michigan State Spartans claimed their fifth Big Ten Tourney crown with a 66-62 victory over No. 13 Purdue. With the win, the Spartans are 5-1 overall in the Big Ten Tourney title game, the most in conference history.

Arthur Ray is a Chicago native who stands at 6'3" and 300 lbs. He's a former Michigan State lineman who played two seasons at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado after being granted two extra seasons of eligibility by the NCAA in January of 2013. He last played for MSU back in 2011 and is a cancer survivor.

Wisconsin outscored Michigan State 11-0 in an overtime thriller on Sunday for an 80-69 victory in the Big Ten Tournament championship game.

Travis Trice scored 20 points, Branden Dawson added 17 points and eight rebounds and Michigan State fought back to beat No. 8 Maryland on Saturday in the Big Ten tournament semifinals in Chicago. 

The Michigan State men's basketball team beat Ohio State, 76-67, at the United Center in Chicago, IL, moving on to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
