He came to MSU from the University of Michigan, where he coached their women's team for seven years. OKEMOS, Mich. - The Okemos girls lacrosse team has something to prove this season. Over the last three years on their road to the State finals, the girls have lost to East Grand Rapids - twice in the semifinals and once in the State finals. EGR is the four time defending state champion, with their streak dating back to 2012.
