The Grammy Award winning Michigan State University Children’s Choir performs a selection of holiday music, including such favorites as Silent Night, White Christmas and Wassail Song. The choir also sings Unending Flame, a piece commissioned by the group in 2007.

The program also offers a behind-the-scenes look at the choir, through rehearsals and interviews.

The choir, under founding director Mary Alice Stollak, won Grammy Awards in 2006 for Best Classical Album and Best Choral Performance. They have performed with conductors Neemi Jarvi and Leonard Slatkin, Gustav Meier, and Leon Gregorian. They have appeared in concert with William Bolcom and Joan Morris, the Canadian Brass, Peter Nero, Marilyn Horne and Marvin Hamlisch.

"Songs for the Season with the MSU Children's Choir" is a production of WKAR at Michigan State University, made possible through a partnership between WKAR and Michigan State University’s College of Music and Community Music School.
