Radio Reading Service services over 1,200 people in the Mid-Michigan area. However, more people who are not being reached could benefit from our services.

It costs WKAR approximately $100 per listener, annually, to provide RRS services. Thanks to much-needed support from mid-Michigan individuals, businesses, grants, and community service groups, WKAR Radio Reading Service is able to provide the service free of charge to all who qualify.
