| Tournament Seeding - Season 22 | ||||||

Teams that win in the qualifying round are seeded into the tournament brackets based on
their scores in the qualifying games. The team with the highest score in their
qualifying game earns the top seed, the second-highest score wins the #2 seed, and so on
through the balance of the winning teams. For seeding purposes, ties are broken based on a team's margin of victory over its qualifying round opponent, with the advantage going to the team that won its game by the greater number of points. Ties are broken next by figuring the total number of correct answers given by each team in the "Lighting Round". Further ties are broken via coin flip. After all qualifying games are played, WKAR will create the tournament brackets and contact the advisors whose teams have advanced. New team match-ups and dates of play will be given at that time. |
