WKAR news, MSU journalism create Michigan's largest election news team/MI First Election

Peter Whorf

More than 300 WKAR news producers and MSU journalists are prepared to bring capital region, Michigan and national election results and analysis to listeners and viewers this November 8th.

WKAR 90.5FM  joins NPR's special Election 2016 coverage starting at 8pm and takes you through the night. NPR's Morning Edition and WKAR's Brooke Allen grab the baton at 5am with election discussion for your early morning and drive time hours.

WKAR TV joins in the political coverage, teaming locally with the national reach of PBS NewsHour.

Both WKAR TV and radio will provide Lansing area and Michigan election news enhanced by the extensive resources of the Michigan State School of Journalism's MI First Election team.
