Election 2018 Special Edition

This special edition of Off the Record marks the first time Pensler and James have appeared together during their campaigns for the GOP U.S. Senate nomination. Both have agreed to a no-rules debate format, anchored by senior capitol correspondent Tim Skubick

Penslar and James are candidates in the GOP primary election to be held on August 7, 2018. The winner of that primary will face incumbent Democratic U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow in the general election on November 6, 2018. Stabenow is running for re-election to a fourth term.
