Sure it’s next year, but who do you like for President?

What are Lansing-area voters thinking about the early stages of the presidential campaign? Current State's Mark Bashore hit the streets to find out.

Current State's Mark Bashore got the urge to learn more about the Presidential candidates that are gradually picking up supporters here in East Lansing. For about 15 minutes, he spoke with passers-by and other patrons at a local shopping center, asking the mostly young respondents which Republican or Democrat would be most likely to get their votes.

About half hadn’t made up their minds and didn’t comment, and we’ll spare you those. Maybe it was the exposure Republican candidates got the previous night in their party’s debate, but there were a lot of young Republicans.
