East Lansing, MI –

Michigan State Spartan fans gathered on campus Wednesday to send their basketball team off to the NCAA Final Four in Indianapolis.

Fans in green and white cheered as the players boarded the bus at the Breslin Center. Chris Keebler of DeWitt wore a Spartan helmut. Keebler and his friends are known as the "sign guys."

"We've kind of been doing this the last couple of years," he says. "We try to go to the airport and see them off out there or wherever they're leaving from. We usually try to bring a new sign every week. Our sign today says 'Believe to Achieve, Play with Passion' because that's exactly what they've been doing and they're ready to bring it home next week. We're going to have a heck of a parade next week."

The Spartans play Butler University Saturday night. The winner will advance to the national championship game on Monday.
