Spartans Drop Home Game To Notre Dame Saturday

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish had luck on their side Saturday night, not allowing the Michigan State Spartans to move the ball on the ground or through the air.   The Irish rocked the Spartans with a 20-3 win.

Linebacker Manti Te’o led the Irish in tackles with twelve, while Le’Veon Bell was held to 66 yards on the ground.  On the offensive side of the ball, Irish quarterback Everett Golson threw for 178 yards and one touchdown, completing 14-32 passes.

This victory marks the first time since 2005 the Irish have beaten a top-10 team, as well as the Spartan’s first home loss since 2009.
