Republican Billie Jo O'Berry (L) and Democrat Carol Siemon will match up in the election for Ingham County prosecutor in November.

Ballot proposals and November’s general election candidates are settled after yesterday’s primary election. We look back at some of the results and hear the thoughts of two Lansing-based journalists:  Susan J. Demas of Inside Michigan Politics and Mickey Hirten of the Lansing City Pulse.

Yesterday, voters determined candidates for Michigan’s upcoming general election. Here in mid-Michigan, those include Ingham county prosecutor, State House districts, county Sheriff candidates and others.

Several ballot proposals were also decided, among them a millage for a new Ingham county animal shelter.

To analyze the results, we speak with Susan J. Demas, owner and publisher of Inside Michigan Politics, and Mickey Hirten, Associate Publisher and columnist for the Lansing City Pulse.
