Current State's third Pop-Up Stories event was last night in Lansing. Reuben Kenyatta was one of the storytellers on the them of "Create and Destroy."

A big thank you to everyone who came out to REACH Studio Art Center for our final Pop-Up Stories event this fall. Pop-Up Stories is a collaboration between Current State, the MSU Residential College in the Arts and Humanities, as well as community partners. You can keep up with the project and keep an eye out for future storytelling events by liking it on Facebook.

The theme was “Create & Destroy,” and we had some great storytellers turn out last night.

Reuben Kenyatta is a fine artist in the Lansing area. He told the story of the very first work of art he created.
