Ben Pineda tells his story at our most recent Pop-Up Stories event. The next is at the Broad Art Museum March 26th.

One of the stories at our most recent Pop-Up Stories event was told by Ben Pineda, a teacher in Haslett. The event's theme was "change of heart."

It can be tough to change someone’s mind, and even harder to overcome your own prejudices. So, when it happens, it is usually a pretty good story.

Haslett Public Schools teacher Ben Pineda talked about his “change of heart” at our Pop-Up Stories event a few weeks ago.

We’ve got another Pop-Up Stories coming up soon. Join us at the Broad Art Museum on Thursday, March 24th at 6 p.m. for stories on the theme “Lucky Break.” If you want to tell your own story, email us at currentstate@wkar.org. You can also stay up to date on all our upcoming events by liking our Facebook page at Pop Up Stories Lansing.
