One sophomore at Michigan State University spent the last two weeks in Peru on an expedition through rainforests and mountains, with the organization Impossible 2 Possible.

Journalism major Abbie Newton was selected as one of five youth ambassadors from all over the world to participate in the mission, where she along with her team members ran a marathon a day for six days.

Newton says the organization's mission is to inspire young kids to reach beyond their perceived limits by challenging themselves mentally and physically.
