Another Harry Potter book is coming out this weekend with midnight parties all across the world. However, rather than benefit Hogwarts, we learn how Schuler Books is using this newest expansion to the world of J.K. Rowling to help a girl’s school in Kenya.

The next installment of the Harry Potter story, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," is being released this weekend. Just as with the release of many of the other books, some stores are even having midnight release parties, including Schuler Books in Okemos.

Current State’s Jamie Paisley sat down with the person who has been prepping this weekend’s festivities, Emily Galer. She has been tremendously busy prepping for the event which begins Saturday night at 9 p.m. A full 30-percent of the proceeds are going to the education of certain students, but not those at Hogwarts.
