NWS: Lansing Sets Its All Time High Temperature Record

The National Weather Service says Lansing set a record Friday for its highest temperature ever officially recorded.

The agency says the mercury hit 103 degrees at 4:53 p.m., breaking the 102 mark set on July 24, 1934. 

The high temperature record for July 6 was 100 degrees from 1988 and other years.
