New MI Dem chairman Brandon Dillon looks to 2016 campaigns

Brandon Dillon resigned from a state House seat to become chairman of the Michigan Democratic Party in August. Current State talks with Brandon Dillon about the presidential campaign and other races that are shaping up around the state.

Last weekend, Michigan Republicans held their biannual Mackinac Leadership Conference on Mackinac Island. Several GOP presidential candidates were on hand, and several Republicans dipped their toes into possible statewide election campaigns for 2018. Today, we get some reaction from the leader of the Democratic Party in Michigan Brandon Dillon about the presidential race, those 2018 races, and more.

This summer, Dillon's predecessor Lon Johnson resigned so he could run for congress in northern Michigan. Dillon resigned his state House seat to take the party chairman’s job.
