Pasadena hasn't been on the MSU football itinerary since 1988. In 23 days, that will change with a Spartan Rose Bowl date with Stanford.

Current Sports host Al Martin covered the game that made the trip possible, Saturday's win over Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game.

Martin says he's never seen head coach Mark Dantonio as fired up as he was after the game.
