On this week's Neighbors in Action segment we feature WKAR's Radio Reading Service, which will turn 40 next week.

Volunteers read news and books to the visually impaired across mid-Michigan. Radio Reading Service Director Brad Walker and long-time volunteer Mike Lipsey say that with repeats, the service is available around the clock.

If you’d like to nominate someone or an organization to be featured on our Neighbors in Action segment, please send an email to Put “Neighbors in Action” in the subject line and tell us why you think they should be featured for the great work they do.
