MSU teams up with INgage to study and develop social media systems

By Rob South, WKAR News

East Lansing, MI – Michigan State University is teaming up with a communications and marketing firm to study how social media can be used to better serve the public. INgage Networks is setting up a research and development office at MSU. INgage president Kim Patrick Kobza says the partnership would help develop more efficient communications models.

Michigan State University is already using social media to help streamline communication in its popular extension services, which have seen significant cuts in funding.
